On the 15th of March 2021 we had to give a presentation on specialisation and progression called DoWhatYouLove, during this were split in to 3 groups and told to do peer assessments on the other members of the group. One of theses members were Abigail Seivers.
During her presentation Abigail's professional pronunciation filled the classroom with a familiar tone as she was presenting to myself and Paige Goodings as well as Ethan Woodward (SFX Tutor) while knowing being record for Nina Harper's (Tutor) viewing and marking purposes.
Abigail shared with us 3 of her amazing makeup. These included,
- Pantomime Dame (Theatre)
- Missing Limb (Casualty)
- Smokey Eye (Fashion Photography)
She also research the SFX makeup artist Matthew Mekash who has also worked on American Horror Story
Abigail shared with us that she would see herself in both the theatrical and SFX industries but would like the specialise in SFX as its the area she enjoys the most.
Abigail has researched into university courses and is at a stalemate between Bolton University and UCEN Manchester as they both have specilaised SFX courses
Overall I believe that Abigail Seivers managed to meet all the criteria set in the brief.
