On Wednesday 5th May 2021, a ninth production meeting was held. During this meeting we once again discussed schedule, we discussed how we could make the characters of The Girls more cohesive as after a dress rehearsal we were shown that the makeup was as cohesive as we would have liked even though the same colours were used but this may be down to different formulas between different products. We also discussed what could be done the following meeting to make us more prepared and organised.
After the meeting, I practiced the straight male makeup on myself. This helped me gain a better understanding at how long the makeup was going to take, this helps as it makes it easier to schedule. This means that I may have time to flout and help other members of the time on the night if whenever we schedule the male actors to come get there makeup done.
At the end of the day, we debriefed and found that Abigail and Paige had been practicing Audrey 2 with varying ideas to then show the director. These varying ideas were the eye shape, lip shape and the shape of the eyebrows.
At the end of the debrief we delegated actor headshots to different members of the team as we were needing to create another makeup design using the actors face. We were going to do this as we were able to see how the makeup would look on the talent.
