This is an original makeup design for the Met Gala theme of Manus X Mechina.
This makeup consists of copper eyeshadow, orange eyeshadow and a low level copper shimmer. The makeup also has a bat wing eyeliner which on hooded eyes like mine looks like a normal winged eyeliner. The makeup also has a red lip, light contour and blush.
To evaluate this makeup I would have to say that the eyeliner could have been tidier. The eyebrow could have been blended out a little more as they look too blocky. The red lip follows the shape of my natural lip but this means that it is not symmetrical. The contour and blush could have been a little heavier as it cannot be seen in the picture.
Fortunately using the flash on this look didnt produce a good enough picture to use on this blog but showed that there was minimal to no flashback.

The makeup shown in the image above is a makeup that would be worn to a red carpet event. To fit the theme of Manus x Mechina this makep could be worn with a silver or grey dress or pants suit, the design i decided on for the hair would be a tidy bun with a three strand braid wrapped around the base.
The red lip would not be used if there was blue lighting as it would show up black, it would also cause the skin to look grey. A white lighting would make the skin look more pale whereas amber lighting, which is quite commonly used, would make the talents skintone look warmer.
